Nitronic 60, UNS S21800, Alloy 218 - specifications and application
Austenitic non-magnetic stainless steel with high strength properties - a significant resistance to impact, abrasion and high hardness.
The grade can be used for working at elevated temperatures, where its corrosion resistance is comparable to materials 316, 316L and 304. The steel is used in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, machine industries (hydraulic systems) and food industry for valves, flanges, pump parts, springs, heat exchangers, screws and even chains.
