Structural steel 45HNMFA/45HN2MFA - description and specification
45HNMF steel has a very high hardening capacity, toughness, torsion, abrasion and wear resistance, which achieves the best mechanical properties after hardening in the oil with a dimensions of 170mm.
Products of this grade are designed for heavy-duty parts of engines, motor vehicles and even parts of mining machines. Despite their high quality, the products of this grade are practically non-weldable.
Materials of the 45HNMF grade are used, among others, for parts of mining machinery, parts of rock drills, heavy-duty parts of aircrafts such as chassis, crankshafts, gearbox shafts, and connecting rods.
