Heat treatment of 40CrMoV4-6, 1.7711 steel:

  • Annealing at a temperature of 680 - 730C
  • Normalization at a temperature of 880 - 900C
  • Annealing at a temperature of 830C
  • Annealing at a temperature of 900 - 930C
  • Normalization at a temperature of 650 - 720C
  • Stress relief annealing after hardening at a temperature of 200C
  • Stress relief annealing at a temperature 50C lower than tempering
