15H, 17Cr3, 15Cr3 – description

Steel for machine parts with low strength requirements, e.g. spindles, pins, camshafts and bushings. Weldable, machinable and cuttable steel. Weld only before carburizing. The steel is similar to 20Cr4 but has lower mechanical properties.

Physical and mechanical properties

Here You can find the mechanical properties of selected alloys. Despite their similarities, they clearly differ.
