X100CrMoV5-1, 1.2363, AISI A2 - specifications and applications
Tool steel for cold working with high ductility, high machinability and hardenability, resistant to deformation and cracking during heat treatment. In addition to abrasion resistance, it is a better alternative to tool grades containing 12% of chromium - such as NC10, NC11. It also has better sandability, while keeping its form constant after hardening. This grade is used in the manufacture of tools for metal forming, cold cutting, drawing, stamping and woodworking. 1.2363 / X100CrMoV5-1 is used for the production of large knives, die-cuts, thread rolling jaws, stamping, stamping tools and planing cutters.
